Project Title: Empowering Women in the Informal Sectors in the Philippines, Exit Phase
Project Description:
Being an exit phase, the present phase is mainly targeting capacity building- and sustainability interventions.
The overall aim of the third phase is to ensure the conservation and future utility of the capacities established since 2002, as well as to ensure that SIW has realistic organizational and financial plans for the survival of the organization and its activities, without heavy support from outside (i.e. sustainability).
Development Objective:
The situation of women in general, and women in the informal economy in particular, has been improved.
Immediate Objectives:
At the end of the 2.5 project cycle, the following shall have been achieved:
Immediate objective No.1:
The capacity of SIW and its mass-based organizations, its networks and alliances at the local and national levels to do advocacy, organizing, education, networking and direct membership services has improved.
Immediate objective No.2:
The sustainability of SIW and its mass-based organizations at the local and national levels has improved.
